had his suspicion confirmed. Slow framerate dodgy collision code = boss falls through the ground on some machines. Fix is underway.

seems to use just 30MB, which is surprising considering it's pygame jsut like maxxor's. Unless py2exe is hiding another 100MB in some other process I can't see.

Only really needs spike traps or poison water, a couple more enemies, more tiles and a nice big interesting level to finish. Nice to haves: Respawn spots, message triggers, armour for monsters and weapon upgrade to penetrate, music, more sounds, more storyline.

Has added death animations for hero and slime (look at the slime anim in the files section on my team page). Also added ability to get more axes, scroll powerup to let axes roll, title screen, some HUD, player has HP.
